Welcome
to West Hartford Community Theater, Inc. (WHCT)
WHCT was incorporated
in the fall of 2007 with an eye toward providing
the highest quality live musical theater experience
for West Hartford residents and the greater Hartford
community. The brain child of Conard High School
graduates, Bruce LaRoche and Maria Librio Judge,
WHCT will draw upon the unique and richly diverse
pool of talent that exists right here in West
Hartford and the surrounding area. Other vital
assistance came from Haig Shahverdian, the head
of the Fine & Performing Arts Department for
the Town, as well as several other Town officials.
In cooperation with the Department
of Fine & Performing Arts, our first production
will be Meredith Willson’s, The
Music Man. The Music Man will be presented
on November 13, 14, 15, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. and
November 16, 2008 at 2 p.m. Celebrating it’s
50th anniversary, The Music Man was selected for
its multi-generational cast, as well as the singular
theme of bringing music to a town…in our
case, the Town of West Hartford. Go to our Shows
